Description
Nero di Vite is an ancient color obtained from the burning of vine shoots that even a sacred monster like Michelangelo used in his works.
Looking at this wine against the light you can understand why they called it that.
A very dark red with reddish, purple and garnet reflections.
On the nose you feel the ripe red fruits at first impact but then come immediately after the spices, cocoa and a nice sensation of warmth given my the wood and probably by the toasting of the used barrels.
On the palate is very full bodied wine and robust, the fruit come out overwhelmingly, the tannin is firm but well controlled.
A nice acidity on the finish makes Nero di Vite also very pleasant to drink despite the structure and its almost 10 years in the bottle.
