Description
Morelloone Piceno Doc Superiore 2019 has been given the tre bicchieri from Vini d’Italia Gambero Rosso wine rating association.
Grapes Variety: 70% Montepulciano and 30 % Sangiovese.
The grapes are grown in the area of Ripatransone (Piceno Doc) in Marche, where the soil of the vineyard is loose with the presence of limestone at the altitude of 280 m.
They are picked and collected in bins, maceration in 60 hl oak vats for 6-10 days.
Refining and Malo lactic fermentation in barrique from 20 to 24 months plus one year in steel tanks.
Minimum 3 months refining in bottle.
The result is a dark ruby colored red wine with ripe red fruit aromas, and spicy fragance.
the taste is intense, persistent, rightly tannic.
