The cellar Velenosi borns in 1984. The entrepreneurs Ercole and Angela Velenosi have combined artisan tradition and cutting-edge technology, creatively interpreting the wine-making process and thus starting a company which grows continually, with Paolo Garbini joining in 2005, and which today spreads worldwide the scents and colours of the Piceno territory through its unique wines.
Rosso del Filare is a velvety wine that stands out for its definite and extremely harmonious character. Roggio del Filare is the undisputed champion of the Velenosi family, it is the most awarded wine of the company.
Our Roggio is a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese, the most important red grape varieties of central Italy.
This wine has a ruby red color with violet hues.
An intense, complex bouquet which releases aromas of ripe plums and cherries along with spiced, floral cents (a captivating appeal).
Roggio is a wine of excentionnal nature with a velvety pulp and a great texture. A fruity, spiced wine with just the right amount of tannins.
It has got a warm, lingering , full-bodied and well-orchestrated taste. To summariza it is a wine that represents all the warmth and terroir of central Italy. The year of bottling may vary depending on availability at the time of order.
